Maite is a responsible young girl in Colombia who lives with her mother and father and is an only child. Maite loves dancing and wants to be a nurse when she grows up. Along with meeting the childs physical and educational needs, at the Tierra Prometida Child Development Center, the children are taught scripture, receive help with their homework and also are given a large meal each day after school. Although sponsorship provides the child with nutritious meals, a warm bed, and a wonderful education, nothing is more valuable than learning about their savior Jesus Christ.
