YMB
Some of AMG’s national leaders live and minister in areas where Christians are persecuted for their faith. In order not to jeopardize their safety and security, the identities of this dedicated couple and their family have been changed for this web description.
YMB grew up in a Christian home, but his parents did not regularly attend church, nor did they share the Good News with their children. After living a sinful life, YMB heard the Gospel proclaimed at a church assembly where Proverbs 28:13 was shared. When the meaning of sin, confession and mercy became clear, YMB accepted Christ as his savior.
Later, when he read Mark 16:15 and learned of the Great Commission, he began passionately sharing his Christian beliefs with villagers. As a result, a church of seventy believers are now meeting in a prayer hall in his village. His wife teaches women's fellowship classes at the church. In addition, the couple regularly share their testimony with idol-worshipping families and also with young people in the area. YM and his wife have one child. They request prayers for their congregation, ministry and their family.
