Jamitas lives with his wife and 2 children. They have recently planted a church. He says, "I was born into a Christian family, but never went to church and was not taught the Word of God. When I was a teenager I was sick, I didn't get better for several weeks. I heard that Christians often pray for the sick. Finally I asked to be taken to church and asked for prayer. The next day I recovered. At that moment I knew the Lord Jesus was powerful. I was ministered to accept Jesus as my Lord and savior. The vision that God gave was to plant a church in a village in Deli Serdang. I was called to serve in this pioneering because I saw many people who had not accepted Jesus as Savior. I visit people who don't believe, share stories and pray for them. Incidentally, I have skills as a builder. When someone wanted to build a house, I offered to work. From there I earn income, build relationships, and testify about Christ."
