Marselinus Lota Nduhu
I was born as a Catholic. The knowledge of Jesus Christ began in my journey when I was still in high school. I felt my heart being called to become a christian, but I only did this out of curiosity at first. I did not understand why everyone in my family was obedient and diligent in carrying out church rules, but I didn't feel love. I saw that there were still grudges, hatred and they brought each other down. Therefore, I was moved to try to open myself to build relationships with people who were Christians. From that trip I felt peace, even though there was rejection in my extended family, I still continued with my choice to accept Jesus the Savior. God showed me the purpose of His calling in 2021. I felt that I was called to serve the Homba Rande people. I live and grow in an area where culture and customs are still very strong and the morality of the community is still very far from mutual respect and love for each other. Blood relations do not guarantee a relationship to be close and loving. Revenge, murder, and rape can occur even if they are related by blood. My vision together with the Spirit of Christ is to build a sense of empathy and sympathy where everyone can see others as their neighbors, who want to be treated the same, namely wanting to be loved and appreciated. My dream also is to bring peace in the household and for children to know the love of Christ from an early age. To realize this vision,
I do the following:
1) Hold father's activities once a week,
2) Hold mother's activities once a week,
3) Hold children's and youth worship, and
4) Provide a house to read spiritual books for children
