Although I grew up in a Christian family and attended church from a young age, my heart was distant from God. My faith was merely a form of empty religiosity, lacking genuine spiritual life. After my father passed away, I began to attend church less frequently, and when I did, it was more out of obligation than desire. Still, God was quietly working in my life. One of my music teachers at school, who also served as the youth leader at church, played a pivotal role in my journey. And so begins the story of my conversion. It was a cool autumn day at the start of my eighth grade when I received a message from the youth leader at church. The message was an invitation to a youth meeting. At first, I dismissed it, firmly deciding I wouldn't attend. When Saturday arrived, I still tried to avoid the event. My friends weren't available, and I had nothing to do at home. I reread the message and, after much hesitation, decided to go. I arrived at church just as the sermon was starting. Pastor Iosua Faur, who preached both on Sundays and at youth meetings, was delivering a series of messages from the book of Ecclesiastes. I quietly took a seat in the back and listened intently to every word. The sermon concluded with the Gospel message - a message I had heard countless times growing up in a Christian home. Yet that evening, it felt profoundly different. For the first time, I considered the Gospel on a personal level. I knew that Christ had died for sinners, but I had never seen myself among them. That night, my world seemed to fall apart. Deep questions consumed me: Why do I exist? What is my purpose on this earth? Though my mind was filled with the message of the Gospel, my heart and will resisted its truth. A few days later, I woke up at dawn with tears streaming down my face and a heavy burden on my conscience. My sins, which I had long ignored, now weighed on me like a crushing load. I didn't understand what was happening to me. I felt like a different person - as though I had been born again. Shame for my past overwhelmed me, a feeling completely unfamiliar until then. Confused and emotional, I went to my mother to share what I was experiencing. She looked at me with joy and said, God has worked in your heart too. Her words confirmed that this was not just an emotional moment but a genuine transformation by God's grace. That day, my heart was forever changed. I abandoned friendships that distanced me from God and let go of my controlling behavior because I realized that Christ had died for me personally. I understood that if I placed my faith in Him and repented, He would forgive me and give me eternal life. From that moment, the Lord ignited in me an unquenchable hunger for His Word. One evening at a youth meeting, as I listened to my pastor passionately proclaim the Gospel and saw how lives were being transformed through Scripture, I paused for a moment. I stopped my inner thoughts, took in the scene around me, and felt a clear calling from God: to do what my pastor was doing - to proclaim the Gospel and preach God's Word, building up His Church. My family had encouraged me since childhood to pursue theological studies, but I had always dreamed of a musical career and planned to study at the conservatory. However, God completely changed my heart. On that day, I resolved to dedicate my life - my heart, will, and strength - to proclaiming the Gospel and preaching His Word. From then until now, this calling has remained alive and steadfast in my heart. The vision of the ministry is: Spiritual transformation through biblical teaching. This vision reflects a commitment to seeing lives deeply transformed by the power of God's Word, with Scripture serving as the foundation and guide for every step of this journey. The core goal is a profound spiritual renewal, rooted in a genuine encounter with God and shaped by the truths revealed in His Word. Biblical teaching provides the clear direction and wisdom necessary for spiritual growth, enabling believers to understand God's will and apply it to their daily lives. This vision calls each believer to engage with Scripture not only intellectually but also personally and practically, leading to a transformation that encompasses the heart, mind, and actions. By emphasizing the central role of biblical teaching, this vision underscores its purpose: to lead individuals to a vibrant relationship with God, marked by continual growth, active service, and a life that reflects the transformative power of the Gospel. It is through the faithful teaching of Scripture that believers are equipped to live out their faith in unity with others and in alignment with God's purposes. God has called me to the ministry of preaching and counseling. I preach weekly and counsel the young people of the church. I firmly believe that preaching has the power to transform, because the Word of God will not return void.
