I was born in Islam family. On 1995, my Christian friend invited me to join a Sunday service. At that time, the priest preached about life after death can only be obtained through Jesus Christ because He is the only savior. Since then my heart was disturbed. I wondered if I was not saved? Finally I asked to be served and believed in the Lord Jesus. My heart became peaceful and I saw many miraculous things that God did since I believed. I was called by God to pioneer a church in the Kartasura area. My heart was called to serve souls because I had received salvation from God. I started worship in a house and then borrowed a building to worship. The majority of the population in my service area are Javanese Muslims. Some are followers of hardline Islam, but some are more moderate Nahdlatul Ulama Muslims.
