The West African nation of Ghana is an exciting and challenging mission field. Dr. Ohene Kumi, national director of AMG Ghana, teaches at the All Africa Bible Institute, holds leadership training seminars for pastors and Christian workers, conducts Vacation Bible Schools, and runs a discipleship program in 105 junior high schools across the country. Ohene and his team work hard to teach, preach, encourage, minister and share the gospel with young and old. Given unrestricted access in the public schools, the discipleship program recorded over 10,000 students completing Bible studies last year. Vacation Bible School meetings also reached out to several thousand participants, with numerous decisions for Christ. When asked to name the most important thing others should know about him, Ohene Kumi says, “I just want to be remembered as a fellow servant of Jesus Christ.”
