AMG Ministries in Myanmar
One of the poorest countries in the world, Myanmar (Burma), has very little educational structure and a largely uneducated workforce. The people suffer from poverty, hunger, oppression, and human rights abuse.
Following a military coup in 2021, the military government has traumatized innocent citizens with frequent attacks, air bombings, burning of homes and churches, and withholding basic needs support, all to express their control and power as a regime. AMG's long-established network of churches there has allowed us to provide relief within the country and along its borders to refugees fleeing for their lives.
