At AMG summer camps, all the “fun” serves a larger purpose. Camp activities are tools and settings to help connect Bible teaching to daily living. Children from AMG’s childcare centers in Guatemala come to Camp Canaan for a week and participate in spiritual and recreational activities to develop skills and abilities that will help them in the future. There are devotionals, Bible studies in small groups, educational activities, bonfires, crafts, swimming, other games, singing, and time for the campers to be alone with God. Each year, AMG operates 42 weeks of life-changing camps, serving thousands of students. Many alumni share that they came to know Christ through the camp ministry.
