Tikva Child Development Center
The Tikva Child Development Center in Guatemala was formed out of AMG's TAVA project, our response to the eruption of Mount Fuego in 2018. Children attend a feeding center to meet their nutritional needs and have access to a computer lab where they can do homework, practice English, and learn computer skills. The center also assists youth by teaching them life skills and helps with job placement after graduation. While living in a dangerous community, the children stay active by playing on the center's soccer field, where they are safe and taught by godly coaches. Most importantly, the children are taught Scripture and participate in mentorship programs designed to train them as godly leaders in their community.
